A very tasty homemade chicken and corn soup. This soup is always good for those cold winter days but of course you can always eat it anytime of the year.

This recipe taste way better than store bought or canned soups and healthier too.

Instructions

    • Wash the chicken and place in a pot. Add 3 cups of water, peel and chop the onion into small pieces then add to the pot. Boil for about 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked and tender.
    • Take out the chicken from the pot, put in a plate and let it cool down. You now have a chicken stock.
    • Add corn cream style to the chicken stock.
    • Add cream of chicken to the stock.
    • Add carrots and corn kernels. Using the one of the cans add 2 to 3 more water. Let it simmer.
    • Shred chicken then add to the pot of soup.
    • In a bowl mix corn starch in 1/4 cup of water and add to the simmering chicken soup.
    • Add salt and pepper. Add parsley simmer until soup thickens. Serve and enjoy!
